Domain Abuse Notice by Domain Cop!

Email Phishing

First time, I’ve received an email from company named Domain Cop. They are claiming that one of my domain is being used for spamming and spreading malware recently.
Here is the email:

Dear Domain Owner,

Our system has detected that your domain: DomainNameRemoved is being used for spamming and spreading malware recently.
You can view the detailed abuse report of your domain along with date/time of incidents. Click Here

We have also provided detailed instruction on how to delist your domain from our blacklisting.

Please download the report immediately and take proper action within 24 hours otherwise your domain will be suspended permanently.

There is also possibility of legal action depend on severity and persistence of your abuse case.

They included link that I’ve removed here. This email almost caught me, I thought it’s real but experience direct me to open their link in a private window. Site is not loading, so I’ve googled with few lines from email and found many peoples are getting similar email from the same company. But some received from .org, I got from a .net domain.

I also investigate the reported(!) domain from our server and found that domain sent so far 1 email in last 7 days!

Please don’t click any link from such email and do not communicate with them. It’s fake and trying to phishing you!
